School Visits
We believe that "Truth is one but wise men explain it in different ways", and there is consequently broad freedom to express religious ideas through singing, drama, dance, drawing, pictures, making images, storytelling etc.
There is no single Hindu creed, unity in diversity is the understanding.
The images of the deities (murti) should be referred to as "images" or "deities" rather than as "statues" or "idols". Worshippers in the Temple regard them as divine incarnations of the one God.
Many schools have visited the Temple in the last seven years, many from the locality and others from far afield. It has also been visited by Educational Organisations around Wales.
Visits to the Temple are in the mornings only with prior arrangements. The visit normally lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The visits can consist of:

Playing traditional Indian musical instruments

Performing "Yoga"

Different symbols

Worksheets can be used to accommodate the schools syllabus

Hindu greetings and their morning activities at home
